Just 30 Minutes from our Driveway and we were here........

Yep that is a beach!
It is hard to believe that we have lived in our current house for over a year and we have never done this before.
Just a 30 minute drive from our house and you can be here...Pineview.

We knew it was there, but we didn't know it had beaches this nice.

(and yep, Madilyn's sunglasses are upside down, but shhh, don't tell her that)

We loaded up all of our new sand toys (thanks mom!) and hit the beach.

It was such a beautiful day. A little windy, but nothing too bad. It was the perfect temperature for playing in the sand and playing in the water.

These 2 built a castle.

and this little man knocked it down....multiple times. That is just what he does.

He also helped his sister pack this little wagon full of wet, heavy sand...

and proceeded to charge to the water with it (after the little handle came off from the shear weight of the thing while Madilyn was trying to pull it around) Don't worry though, her brother used it as a "walker" and literally charged down the beach with this heavy thing! Haha
It was more than hilarious and he wasn't happy when I had to stop this operation.

so he decided to crawl into the water

he loved being in the water. He would just crawl right in and wanted to keep going....too bad mom always stopped him.

The only one with a swimsuit on was Cowen.
We had gone swimming the night before and I was in the process of washing our swimsuits and they weren't dry yet, so we didn't have them.

We have already planned our next trip up to this glorious place though *Madilyn's birthday next Wednesday), so we get a second chance and will bring our suits.

can't wait to be here again :)
