Paul's parent's surprised the kids and I today by coming up and taking us to the dinosaur park. We had never been before, so we were pretty excited about it.
Madilyn kept calling all the dinosaurs "dinosaurous" and it was making me laugh. So I had to get this down before I forget it.
It was pretty awesome, but we got rained out....BIG TIME...it was a complete down pour complete with thunder and lightening. The majority of the fun is outdoors, so we were pretty sad that we had to leave without experiencing it all. Guess that means we have to go back soon, right? It is beyond words for me to describe how neat it is to see Madilyn running around and having the time of her life exploring and learning new things. It makes all the hard times just melt away. Amazing feeling. Beyond words that is for sure.
The kiddos had a wonderful time, despite the weather, feeding ducks, watching the robot dinosaurs (which Madilyn was a little scared of, but just couldn't stop going to see them), taking silly pictures, and just being with Grandma and Pop.
I got a few good pics, but I will upload those later, as it is Paul and I's "date night" at home tonight and we are watching a movie and having dinner. (Paul gets off work at 8:30pm on Fridays and always brings home a great dinner for us, as the kiddos are already in bed) We so look forward to this great kick off to our weekends.
