Finally!
We are having potty training success and progress.
Madilyn pooped in her potty for the first time today! She has peed several times now (but still not consistent), but today was a big milestone in potty training.
This has been a slow road for us. She was really interested last summer, but I didn't want to start it, as Cowen was on his way and I heard that a new baby can really throw things off....soooo
little miss Madilyn hasn't wanted to have anything to do with the potty pretty much since Cowen arrived. She wanted to wear diapers like Cowen.
But then a few weeks ago she showed interest again and we got her some pretty panties with her favorite characters on them, so "Lightening McQueen" pull ups training pants, and she got to pick out another potty seat for our downstairs bathroom.
And we were off. Again. At almost 3-years-old. With preschool only a few weeks (days now) *gasp* away.
Luckily,
She just loves pouring her "little" potty into the "mommy and daddy" potty and flushing it....
what a journey this whole thing has been (and continues to be)
we have learned that stickers work wonders and a few surprise toys work pretty well too.
And the journey continues......
