Madilyn's First Day of Preschool!

It is hard to believe that she started preschool a few days ago. We have been talking about it for so long (as we registered her back in February).
Madilyn was a little nervous, but
it was such a fun first day, as Paul, Cowen, and I got to stay with her and meet the teacher, do a scavenger hunt, and sing songs.
Madilyn had a great time and we are so proud of her.

Here she is posing with her new backpack!

She is so proud :)

Here she is tracing her name. She picked blue and green colored pencils to trace her name.

Story time. She was so good and attentive. I loved to see her following directions and listening so well, as I don't get to see that side of her very often ;) It was so neat to see her little personality in social situations. She is amazing!

The letter of the week was "P" and this thrilled Madilyn as that is "daddy's letter." That is the first thing she said when her teacher (Mrs. Law) held up a letter P. It was adorable.
Then she got to make a letter P with purple pudding.

Of course Cowen had to try out the chairs that his big sis was sitting in. He is copying her all the time now and wants to do everything that she is doing. It is pretty cute and endearing, even though Madilyn doesn't think so!
Here is our little girl posing in front of the doors to her school.

and enjoying a popsicle on the lawn after her big first day. We are excited for her second day tomorrow, as she has her tumbling class. We think she is going to love it.

We are so proud of you Madilyn!
