:::::EASTER::::

Our Easter was really casual and relaxing. It was great to have Uncle Brian in town to share it with the kiddos.

No Easter dress this year. My parents had about 3-4 inches of snow at their house!! The bunny had to hide everything inside this year. Madilyn insisted on wearing her new flip flops though. There was no stopping her! I understand fully. I can't wait to bust mine out as well.

We had a lot of fun dying the eggs this year. Little man had fun discovering eggs and just holding, and rolling them around his tray.
Madilyn did awesome. We put the eggs in a wire whisk and it worked perfect for her to dip and dye the eggs without making a huge mess. She absolutely loved this new type of art project. She knew exactly which colors she wanted to do and everything.

The day before Easter, we played outside....

in the SNOW...yuck.

but it was fun anyway.

HAPPY EASTER, HAPPY SPRING

Right Now, We LOVE:::::::

This smile! This boy is SO happy.

matching jammies...cheesy, I know, but SO adorable. And it makes them happy as well. Why? I have no idea. (Love how Cowen has his hand on his sister's knee).

This paired with tortilla chips...amazing! Had to haul a few boxes of these home from the Costco in San Diego (psst...they carry WAY better stuff in San Diego!)

this boy is starting to like food a little more...that is a BIG accomplishment. Avocados are his fav.

this face in general lights up my day.

and so does this one. Popsicles are her favorite food- ever. I have been buying all fruit ones, so she gets a little nutrician. I am researching how to make my own as well. (We will see how that goes!)

yeah, Paul and I LOVE this yogurt..and it is only available in early Spring in this flavor. I buy ALL of them when I see them. YUM, YUM, YUM.

and really loving how this little man is learning to wave (and how to give "5's")

*St. Patrick's Day*

yep, we had burritos and green Guiness on St. Patrick's Day! Yummy...that is my kinda St. Patrick's Day. Okay, well we had corned beef and cabbage the next night- Paul would never miss this tradition. Paul's parents were not able to make it up on St. Patrick's day, so we celebrated the day after (and the day of). My Irish husband is adorable :)

The Past Few Days....

have been great!!

Madilyn has been SOOOO good with her brother... (I keep feeling her head to see if she is ill!)

She is offering him toys to play with, she is giggling at him and with him, she looks at him with love in her eyes, she wants to include him in her play (sometimes)she hasn't hit him very much, and makes sure that I am giving him the things he needs during the day.

Even if this is short-lived, I am having so much fun with it.

We have gone shopping the last few days and Madilyn is so well mannered while out and about (she always has been). I am so proud of her!!!!

The kiddos are just too adorable.

Today, I was sitting with Cowen and I had to scratch my foot, and he leaned down and scratched my foot with me!! (so cute!). I had to record this moment, as I don't want to forget it.

Last night Madilyn was saying "mother, mother, mommy mia, you are my mother, that's you!"...haha. Where does she come up with this stuff? She always calls me mommy mia. Hilarious. And lately, she has been saying "Daddy is my bear"..it melts my heart.

Little Man is (almost) crawling!!!

love this cute smilely face
(the pic is a little blurry, but I was in a rush to get the pic..and my camera is a little slow)

pretty exciting.

I can't believe how time flies.

We have been so busy lately, so it seems to be going by even faster.

So excited for all the fun trips we have planned for the spring/summer/fall.

Excited to find/purchase a new car.

Excited for it all :)

She looks innocent.......

BUT....

she's NOT!!

This little adorable 2-year-old has been a little terror lately.

I now fully understand the what people mean by the

"terrible 2's"

I didn't realize how much patience that I really have until now :)

I also have a new found respect for my parents and all they did for me.
