Cowen had his 9 month well-baby check up at the Doc today.
He weighs in at 22 lbs 1 oz (which is not even a pound more than his 6 month visit)...surprisingly, he has really slowed down in growth.
He is now in the 75th percentile, instead of the 95th. Must be all that moving around that he is doing lately.
This boy is everywhere and into everything ALL the time!
He is getting his top middle teeth, so he has been a little fussy lately.
He HATES to be put in bed at night..he gets SO mad the moment he knows he is going into his crib. He cries anywhere from 5 mins to an hour before giving it up and going to sleep. This is EVERY night!!! I am hoping that he quits this soon...it is hard on his mama!
He is saying ma ma, da da, boob (ha!), and ball----these are his fav words at the moment.
He is getting more adventurous with trying new foods and seems to like finger foods and what we are eating a lot better than baby food purees....he just isn't in to that sort of thing.
I am leaving my kiddos for 2 whole days to go to Vegas with my sister Jaime. (Thanks babe for the amazing Mother's Day gift) We are going to see Kenny Chesney in concert at the Hard Rock hotel! I am over the moon!!! Two whole days to do anything we want :) I am pretty nervous about leaving Mad and Cowen though. I am hoping Cowen does okay. He doesn't like drinking his milk any other way than nursing. I am crossing my fingers that he does well for Paul.
As for Madilyn, she is growing into such a little girl. She is such a great helper and big sister. She is getting so excited for preschool in August and asks about it all the time.
We are going to start "getting serious" about potty training when I get home from Vegas. I am sure that she will do well.
