PAUL enters a new DECADE.....

We celebrated (low-key) with Paul's mom and dad a few days early by going out to dinner and having ice cream cake....as we were going to Las Vegas on his actual bday to see THE CIRQUE DU SOLEIL SHOW: LOVE. (which was amazing!) Paul was really sick during the trip though which wasn't fun, but we still enjoyed the show.

PAINTING WITH PUDDING

What a way to spend a rainy day! We made vanilla pudding and colored it with food coloring and painted on a plate. It was really fun. Madilyn had a great time snacking and painting at the same time :) Our little lady is definitely a TWO year old..she is so much fun, but we definitely have our little moments.

IT'S OFFICIAL....HE IS A BIG BOY!

We had Cowen's 2-month wellness check with his Pediatrician on Wednesday. He is now

14 lbs 8 ozs!!!

Madilyn was only 11 lbs 14 ozs at her 2 month check! He is in the 95% for weight and he is in the 90% for his height, which was
24"

he is a nice chumba wumba baby!! The doctor described him as

perfect

and loved him so much she said she wouldn't mind taking him home when Madilyn said that she wouldn't mind :) She was so quick to give her brother up!! Cowen was wonderful through the whole check-up. Even through the 45 minute wait to see the Dr. He was smiling and happy throughout the whole visit. He is smiling and flirting so much. It is a lot of fun. He is such a content baby most of the time, but he has his moments...mostly when he is overtired! I still can't believe that he is 2 months old. Also, there were 2 nights this past week that he slept through the night...yay! The last 2 nights, he has slept 6 hours before getting up to eat and then going back to sleep...it is so nice to be able to get some rest. Hopefully, it will just get better and better from here.

WELCOME {OCT}TOBER

I am so happy that you are here. You are my second favorite month! This month is so full this year. We are starting the month off right! My sister is treating me to a pedicure and eyebrow wax at the spa tomorrow! I can't wait. It is a belated bday present and also gets us ready for our trip to Vegas next week. We leave on Paul's bday and Paul and I are going to see a show that night for his birthday. Then he has to fly home the next day, as he is going to Washington DC for 2 weeks for work. Jaime and I are staying in Vegas for a week with the kids. We are so excited to sit by the pool and take Madilyn to do fun things in Vegas.

Then we can't wait to see my Grandma Sims and my Aunt Sue!!

They are visiting from Ohio at the end of October to meet Cowen and to also meet Jaime's new husband Joe.

Then Paul's brother and sister are coming around Halloween. I can't wait to see them!

It is going to be a great month full of trips and visits...what could be better?
