We are so excited and can't wait to meet our little boy. We are really happy and feel so lucky to experience a girl and a boy, considering that we decided that we are only having 2 kids- no matter what they turned out to be. Paul really wanted to have a little girl first (and he definitely got his wish) and we both wanted to have a boy as well. It is so hard to believe that it came true :)

Is anyone surprised?? I know that I was!! With all the girls in my family, I didn't think that a boy would be possible and I have always wanted one. I can't stop looking at the ultrasound pics and thinking about how it will be to have a little boy!

We also played a little joke on the family and told them that it was another girl....mixed reactions followed!! But really, here he is....baby #2 is a BOY 100% positively all BOY!!

We can't wait!

Hugging daddy for the first time in over a month!

We are so happy to have Paul home and are happy to report that he is finally feeling better and has adjusted back to "Utah time" after a crazy 3 week journey to Pakistan. He has many crazy stories about his adventures there and has been pretty sick since he has been home....gotta love 3rd world countries. Overall, though, he had a great experience and we will post some great pictures soon!

Potty

Last night after Madilyn's bath (which ended up being over an hour long!) she said "pee" and then proceeded to try and lift the lid of the toilet. I put her up there and she was thrilled to be sitting on it. She sat there for a minute or two just talking to me and then all the sudden I heard a little "tinkling" sound....she PEED IN THE POTTY!!!! It was really cool. Then she had fun pulling toilet paper off and putting it in the potty. It was so cute!!! What a great start to potty training. At least she is interested in it. We will see what happens from here. I also got her a little potty shaped like a frog and she likes to sit on it while I am going to the bathroom. I wish I would have been able to get a picture of her on the potty, but I have to hold her on so that she doesn't fall in! Way to go Madilyn!!!!
